Brief

Theme: Creation

Premise: A short animation, based on Greek mythology and life in the ocean, that follows a curious young mermaid interacting with other aquatic creatures and becoming envious of their ability to create.

Art Style: 2D animation, Colourful, cute and simple characters (cartoon/anime), more detailed backgrounds.

Length: 3-5 minutes

Target Audience: My goal is to have this animation at the Yagan Tower and so it has to be appropriate for all ages.

Narrative

A young mermaid Marina was looking around and she spotted a clam that was supposed to light up at night and creates so she waited patiently for it to light up. When it lights up the fish etc. changes colour and beautiful effects around her and she’s very happy that she found that treasure to create life at the end.
