About the project

For my third year, first trimester, I chose to make a chibi style animation which is like anime but with small body proportions and big head and eyes.I started using my Ipad for my character design and background using Sketchbook app. the programs i used for my animation was Toon Boom which has more tools, it was hard to animate which is why i us puppet rig for all three characters, i draw on the side characters and the barista.

I had a rough start on coming up with the story and characters until when I went to a cafe to get a coffee and it got me an idea on the love triangle story and I started drawing on my Ipad and used Sketchbook app for my concept art. I'll be using the puppet animation method because it's a lot easier to animate and I used the program Toon Boom/Harmony Premium because the puppet rig is a little bit easier than Duik Bassel in after effects.  During the quarantine I had lots of major problems with setting everything up at home and including managing files and technical issues on Toon Boom.
